Not everyone is comfortable with words, some people are able to fully express themselves with music, others with images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new format: we give 5 inputs to some of the illustrators we like most and ask them to respond through drawings. Not something complex and elaborate, just sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination.
I’m an artist from Paris, based in London. With a fashion background I’ve always been inspired by people, their bodies and the social aspects linked to their bodies and ways of dressing up. After studying fashion at the Antwerp Royal Academy and working as a fashion designer for a few years I changed career to focus on illustration.
I’m generally inspired by people and human connections, modern feminism, animals and nature, surrealist and psychedelic arts. I create conceptual and colourful digital and non digital illustrations to bring the viewer into a vibrant and pop surrealist world.
