This is a series of illustrated interviews a bit special because it is made in partnership with Tillanelli, a Saint Petersburg-based illustration collective. The basic concept is always the same: 5 inputs to which illustrators respond through sketches. Not something complex and elaborate, but just sketches on paper, as when as children we give shape to our imagination. Let’s get to know something about this beautiful reality and the illustrators who are part of it.
Tillanelli is an illustration studio created and inspired by ladies. We’re an international team focused on illustration and motion design. We love minimal and colorful aesthetic, and clear storytelling. Also, we love pizza.

My name’s Evgeniya Skubina, I’m an illustrator and artist from Moscow, Russia. I love to work with analogue media like gouache and acrylic and generally I like handmade things. I pay special attention to colors and forms and their combinations. I usually get inspired by avant garde art, fashion and travel and try to materialise my visual impressions into pieces of art that give sense of joy and freedom.
