Fotointervista is exactly what it sounds like: an interview to be answered with photographs to get to know photographers and their personal world.
This is a series of photographic interviews carried out in partnership with JSR, a creative agency that represents some of the finest photographers, illustrators and motion artists around.
Over fifteen fast-paced, exciting years of hard won improvement and innovation, JSR Agency has grown into a creative management agency that represents some of the finest artists in the industry.
JSR was founded in 2006 and today represents over 50 artists. Thanks to a team of 15 people in their London office JSR has adapted to become a modern creative agency for the needs of a new world of communication.
Let’s start our photographic journey with perou.
perou is a master photographer of people: sports stars, actors, musicians, politicians, models, less famous people, and sometimes THINGS, that aren’t even people.
Worldwide most recently, perou, in collaboration with Karl Hyde from the band ‘Underworld’, has been photographing unexpectedly beautiful, urban landscapes of empty English underpasses, at night. A collection of these pictures with associated found texts, called ‘tunnel vision’ is published by Reel Art Press.
In perou’s last project ‘BIG cats’: tigers, lions, cheetahs, jaguar, and leopards were photographed in a studio he set up INSIDE a lion’s den (literally not metaphorically) to highlight how endangered these animals are.
