Not everyone is comfortable with words, some people are able to fully express themselves with music, others with images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new format: we give 5 inputs to some of the illustrators we like most and ask them to respond through drawings. Not something complex and elaborate, just sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination.
Susie Ang is an illustrator based in Singapore. Her encounter with art started when she messed up the walls around her house with crayons. Little did she know that this humble beginning would eventually transform into something more significant; from a pastime into a way to tell stories. Although currently looking for collaboration with others, she always loves doing personal work as she finds the importance of constantly expressing her own thoughts and feelings. Also an avid swimmer, she finds water is a good medium for meditation and brainstorming.
