This is a series of illustrated interviews carried out in partnership with JSR, a creative agency that represents some of the finest photographers, illustrators and motion artists around. The concept behind is always the same: 5 inputs to which illustrators respond through sketches. Not something complex and elaborate, but just sketches on paper, as when as children we give shape to our imagination.
Over fifteen fast-paced, exciting years of hard won improvement and innovation, JSR Agency has grown into a creative management agency that represents some of the finest artists in the industry.
JSR was founded in 2006 and today represents over 50 artists. Thanks to a team of 15 people in their London office JSR has adapted to become a modern creative agency for the needs of a new world of communication.

Trajan Jia has many years of experience in commercial illustration, his work is known for its richness of colour and intricate detail. He is skilled in applying various design styles, whether geometrically simple or complex, adding a unique, engaging and whimsical touch to all his pieces.
Trajan belief is that the painting should be recognised for its creation narrative, message and content prior to its presentation style. This must be the intention of the illustrator.
As an illustrator immerses himself in two different cultural backgrounds, he attempts to bury some aesthetic secrets within the detail of each painting. These hidden touches reveal the hand of the illustrator, and the meaning behind the creation.
