Not everyone is comfortable with words, some people are able to fully express themselves with music, others with images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new format: we give 5 inputs to some of the illustrators we like most and ask them to respond through drawings. Not something complex and elaborate, just sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination.

Marti Menta is the pseudonym for Martina Pellecchia, who grew up on bread, films and books. Trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, I started my nomadic life between Germany, Scotland, Spain and Portugal, without ever stopping. In my wanderings I realized that the only way to feel complete and bring all my thoughts to life is through illustration. I still continue to move from country to country, and in my free time I never stop drawing. I currently collaborate with small independent publishing houses and I hope to expand my network even further. In my spare time, I like writing bad fairy tales, watching cat videos and reading tarot cards wrongly.
